The Villafranca Studio creative team focuses on listening to you. This gives us the tools to create a work that is uniquely suited to you and your specific needs.
We are two highly trained and dedicated artists based in San Francisco, CA who have completed a large number of projects on three continents —Europe, South America, and North America (both Canada and the US).

This invaluable experience of working in both the Old and New Worlds has allowed us to incorporate many periods and styles in our approach.

Parisian Brigitte Michelet graduated from the renown Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs de Paris, where she studied Visual Arts. In her early career, she worked as an illustrator for several advertising agencies and French magazines, such as Madame Figaro, Elle, and Cosmopolitan. Later, growing interest in architecture and interior design inspired a new direction and in 1992 she joined her husband to create Villafranca Studio.
Villafranca Studio is dedicated to embellishing interiors with exceptional quality murals and hand-painted creative finishes for walls, ceilings, floors, furniture and cabinetry.

Miguel Villafranca, left his native Chile to study architecture and painting at Paris's prestigious Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts. After graduating, he worked with the Opera de Paris and the Opera de Monte-Carlo to create fantastic set decors. From this experience, Miguel knew that architectural decorative art was to be his main art form. In 1992, he and his wife Brigitte started Villafranca Studio. Together they work all over the United States and internationally with interior designers and architects, to produce creative hand-painted finishes of the highest level and amazing fine art murals.
